Fire Destroys Garage Sunday In Canton

Firefighters put out a fire in a detached garage early Sunday at a home on East Hill Road.The garage was cdestroyed in the fire, which started sometime before 3 a.m., the Town of Canton Volunteer Fire & EMS said. Two cars were also destroyed.Firefighters stopped the fire from spreading to the home or nearby homes. No residents or fire personnel were injured.The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire.
